Wisteria

If you walk in the woods in the Deep South this time of year, no doubt you will come across the large patches of cascading, purple waterfalls known as wisteria. In the Victorian language of flowers, wisteria represents clingy, obsessive love due to its invasive nature that will overtake and sometimes smother small trees. However, as suffocating as they may be the rest of the year, for a brief few weeks in the spring they bring the forest to life with color of royalty!
